Germany vs. Slovenia EuroBasket 2025 Odds, Time, and Prediction
Germany vs. Slovenia 2025 EuroBasket Quarterfinal is on the program on Wednesday, September 10, at Xiaomi Arena in Riga, Latvia. Let’s see who’s gonna advance to the final four stage Germany vs. Slovenia is a 2025 EuroBasket QF game that will see four NBA players in action. Three of those are German players – Dennis Schroder (Detroit Pistons), Franz Wagner (Orlando Magic), and Tristan da Silva (Orlando Magic). Slovenia, on the other hand, has just one NBA player, but this guy is playing at an MVP level. The man in question is Luka Doncic (Los Angeles Lakers), who’s currently the EuroBasket 2025 leader in points (34.0 PPG), as well as second in assists. But oddsmakers think that Slovenia is a one-man army that won’t be able to do much against a powerhouse like Germany. Based on EuroBasket odds, “Die Mannschaft” should have a field day on September 10. Before the start of the EuroBasket 2025, Serbia was seen as the No. 1 favorite to win the tournament. Nikola Jokic & Co. were expected to cruise to the title, but they got knocked out in the first round of the knockout phase by Finland. France, too, ended their journey at this stage, which leaves Germany as the only major favorite still in the game. So far, “Die Mannschaft” have been proving that they deserve to be thought of as the favorites. They’ve got all wins so far, including some that saw them absolutely maul their opponents – they beat Great Britain 120:57, for example. Truth be told, the Germans still haven’t played against such a strong team as Slovenia. Their toughest opponent was Finland who they defeated 91:61, but even though the Finns have been impressive in this tournament, they don’t have what the Slovenians have – Luka Doncic. In the previous stage of the tournament, Slovenia’s opponent was Italy. Doncic & Co. entered the game as 3-point underdogs but still managed to win by seven points. This was all thanks to the LA Lakers superstar. Luka Doncic is scoring 36.89 percent of his team's points at the Eurobasket. Doncic had an incredible game against Italy, scoring 42 points – exactly 50% of his team’s total points. He also recorded 10 rebounds and one assist. Knowing this, it’s clear what Germany’s path to victory is: they need to stop this guy. If Germany manage to stop Doncic, can his teammates help him out? Well, they’re not that great. Klemen Prepelic is “the best of the rest” when it comes to this team. He plays as a guard for Dubai and is not famous for scoring too many points. Alen Omic could possibly be the ace up their sleeve against Germany. The 7’1 Buducnost Podgorica center is five inches taller than Daniel Theis, who’s supposed to play in the center position for Germany on September 10. We think we can predict Slovenia’s strategy for the September 10 game: Luka Doncic is going to shoot plenty of 3-pointers, and Alen Omic will be there to try to recover missed shots. Will this work out for them? We’re not sure. The thing is that, overall, Germany is a much better team. Still, we do think that Doncic and his teammates will put on a good fight, which is why we expect them to cover the spread. Pick: Slovenia +12.5

Reasons Why Germany are 13-Point Favorites
Can Luka Doncic Lead Slovenia to Another Huge Upset?
For context: That's more than MJ in any of his NBA years. (Only Wilt beats that percentage in two seasons).
Also: Doncic leads Slovenia in rebounds, assists, blocks and steals.
